Pocket Monster a.k.a Pokemon is a great hype. there is a game, anime, or the other stuff about pokemon. in 2016 niantic release a game aboutt pokemon and called Pokemon GO. this project is illustrate three starter pokemon named Charmender, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur and also i make their evolution.

My personal style involves much of vector. i make this project while i was challenge myself to practice illustration a lot, then i got this pokemon idea. so for this project i try to use a few shape and limited color for my project to challenge myself to make minimalist vector very quick.

this project using Adobe Illustration. i rather use Adobe Illustrator then Adobe Photoshop cause it's kinda hard to put shadow or detailing. for the work flow,started by draw or sketch on my art book for the style and the shape i want. then trace that sketch in adobe, pick a color. and put the detailing like shadow or the other.

The respond to this work on facebook and instagram was huge. People appriciated my work a lot. what i learn from this project is how to make a minimalist vector and i learn that if people want to make something, then work for it don't just dreaming, cause you won't get anything from that.
