DGTL-CRAFT senior retoucher Alexander Wätzel did the project in collaboration with fashion photographer Marie Bärsch and model Annie Ericson in Cape Town. Annie has this fantastic apartment with an amazing pool. Marie was provided with some awesome bikinis by OnlineBikiniShop and so they decided to meet for a relaxed shoot on a sunny afternoon.

I provided the retouching and the color grading for the project and I knew from the beginning that I wanted to go for that desaturated overall look with that amazing bronze, dark goldish skin tone which worked perfectly with Annie who did an amazing job with her poses and to present the bikinis.

DGTL-CRAFT

dgtl-craft.com had the motto "refining beauty" right from the start. With our retouching and color grading we do not want to change pictures and therefore models completely. Our goal is it to emphasize specific characteristics from models or products and present them in the most beautiful way. We get our inspiration everywhere, color combinations you can find in your everyday live,
big campaigns and sometimes just by trying different things.

People always say its better to start at that time or wait until then but that is just an excuse. Just set your goal and start immediately to achieve it. I used a 2014 15“ MacBook Pro, A Wacom Intuous Pro L (+S for travelling) an old Dell 27“ Ultrasharp (very accurate colors) Photoshop CC, Capture ONE Pro.
