Popcorn Project by Anna Trympali
We all know that one key to improve ones product packaging is to redesign. Our featured artist did just that to her Popcorn packaging. Grab a bucket of popcorn and see how this amazing Graphic Artist and Art Director does her magic in making fun illustrations to this project.
It is a personal project I created while I was a graphic design student. I had and still have the need to redesign every single packaging that does not fit my taste. This is exactly what I did in this project. I designed a Popcorn Brand, a packaging and a slogan that met my needs as a consumer.

Despite the fact that I cannot remember exactly the duration of the design process, I feel certain that it did not take long. As I have already mentioned, it was a personal project, therefore I was the creative director, the art director as well as the designer. I knew exactly how I wanted the output to be, so it took me the least time to actually design it.
My need for good and personalised design helped me to come up with to the idea of rebranding and repackaging these Popcorn Packages.

I designed everything using adobe Illustrator. The photo-shoot took place in my improvised home-studio with a Canon DSLR. I edited all the photographs in adobe Photoshop and the only material I used was paper from Perrakis Papers Company.

Keep trying new things. Don’t rush into finding your own path. When you are young, passionate and have all this spare time, don’t confine your potential into a particular style. Explore your world and be curious. Down the road you will find a better self and a better designer!
