Remiara is an ice cream shop that is completely made-up. I like to create projects to enjoy myself. I thought and ice cream shop should be colorful, happy and childish which are my feelings when I ate ice-cream every time! Pattern is made up from the letters of the logo and all the letters always reminds us the shop itself. I think this branding is very powerful because as much as it is colorful and happy, it is also memorable.

I always start with color palette. When I choose the colors, everything comes with it. After that I used my little sister to comment while I go. I wanted it to look good for a child. That means it is cute enough to eat :)

First I used my iPad Pro 12.9 with my Apple Pencil and software called Procreate to draw out my sketches. Then rest of the project happens in Adobe Illustrator. After I finish my project, I use Adobe Photoshop for the mockup designs and then I use those mockups in Illustrator.

People generally respond well and comment nicely. It is hard to hear constructive negative comments. Thats what keeps us from learning. But children never lie. I used my little sister's comments about design. I asked her if she would eat from this ice ccream shop and I kept working on it until she said yes.
