SD Card Reader
Sometimes SD card slot are confusing and we put it in wrong side. Normally they have a conventional form which is box, and even it doesn’t tell you the right direction. ‘The combined dropped angle and arch-shaped’ has unconventional shape and also particular direction which gives you hint to putting it in slot as a right direction.
First of all, I validated the form through some tangible things which are small geometric wooden blocks for children to prove usability and paper collage to check that how two different shape characters could combined nicely. Secondly I draw 1 to 1 scale drawing and built it up on 3D modeling program, lastly rendered it.
Fortunately some people liked it, I guess they have interest about experimental trying and unconventional shape which I tried to express through this project. I don't think this product could have 'likes' buttons from most of people who likes trendy design, but I am satisfied so far what I have got 'likes' from some of people who can share same visionary about this sort of project.
