Summer business card is an exploration into shape and colour. It has 24 different background that can be assembled like a puzzle. The cards are handmade using screen printing and spray cans for the side. Each future clients deserve special attention and unique visual solution; this is the main idea behind the work.

I had previously made this screen print illustration call the Fabric where I use the visual code of the interface of Photoshop. My business card is the version two of this work.

For me those illustrations are the beginning of a personal reflection about the tool I use in my creation process. Interface are great, they make us work faster and easier but at the same time we do not understand what happens behind it. The interface make us more stupid on how the digital world work, since mostly everything moving to that realm, it try to have a better understanding of what is going behind it.

I use an illustrator for the design and silkscreen for the printing method.

I always look for inspiration at the beginning of a project to have a similar feeling of what I expect to have as an end result and for the colour palette. In illustrator, I built a grid of 3 by 8 business card and started my illustration. I wanted an interesting shape on each card. I use a lot of drop shadow or blur effect to give dimension to the illustration.

In the printing process the last layer had a problem. The tram was too small to let the paint print all detail, the result was not as expected. I was happy the way it looks whit out it , so I did not print it.

I think this design had a really good response. It one of my most liked projects on behance. I think it the way I have presented the project,it help to have good photo to get a good response. i think most people enjoy this colour combination.
