Where is the fun if you are using a old and boring tea infuser? If you're a fan of tea, you'll definitely love these dazzling designs of tea infusers. The designs were made by a 31 year old award winning industrial designer from Montreal, Canada, Philippe Baril. So, I am really sure you will love tea more with these kind of tea infusers. See the designs for yourself and enjoy!

The stick tea infuser is a project I did for MSC International who wanted to have a more modern and playful tea infuser in their product line. The inspiration came from tea drinkers who often stir their tea with the infuser. I wanted to focus on this on this by using a shape that respects this natural gesture, in this case a simple stick. Being an avid tea drinker myself, I wanted to integrate the perfect tea measurement directly into this item so I don't have to get a tea spoon every time. Like most of my projects, I usually come up with ideas in Sketchbook pro or paper, then work with my team on the 3d up to a 3d printed prototype. We make as many prototypes as necessary until we get the design just right.
