There have always existed disputes among the competing parties, divergent opinions while the fans of each brand were convinced that theirs was the best product. Last, but not least, the rivals have even conducted ad campaigns against the competing brands. This project mostly approaches the visual "conversations" between the company logos and the ways that they influence each other, hence the name of the project, Brandversations. It is a parallel between the modern and the old, some of the slogans dating back to the 40s and 50s.

This is a project about brands - the great brands of the modern world - which have built quite a history for themselves as the years went by.

I have switched the slogans of the brands amongst themselves, the goal of this being to give them further meaning and to create a sort of a confusion. It is surprising how logos can influence other logos. The truth is that each pair of rivals has something in common, that something which has helped them to build one identity upon the other, this way becoming the biggest brands.

Completing this project - The Greatest Brandversations has taken a lot of time and a lot of patience on my part. Each little bit of the final image has been moved and resized manually in order to maintain a correct and balanced composition and layout of the elements.

"How did I come up with the design?" is a question everybody is asking me about this project - The Greatest Brandversations. I just connected some dots. Inspiration is key. I was watching some old anti-commercials from Coca-Cola and Pepsi, most probably you know them. Digging deep into their concept, I found mine. This is just a process of gathering information and not throwing it away.

First of all I think is alright to question everything, some bright ideas emerge from your own answers. Don't throw away ideas that you think they're bad, ideas have their right time.

  1. Think Different!
That's my favorite Stefan (and I won't lie that being a Mac user who can turn his machine to operate Windows influenced this selection) You have showed that you think differently and invented (I believe) something new and a humorist visual way to look upon the famous brand names.
