The Secret Lives of Dalí by Juan Ibánez
Spanish artist and Surrealist icon Salvador Dalí is perhaps best known for his painting of melting clocks, The Persistence of Memory. However, Dalí is also best remembered for his quirky 'mustache'. It's probably one of the famous mustache ever. Now, freelance designer Juan Ibánez is paying tribute to Salvador Dalí through his project 'The Secret Lives of Dalí'.
These images are meant as the first on a series focused on Dali intending not only to capture all those authors that influence my work but also to identify those artists that inspired him. Dali´s eccentric personality, his versatility and geniality. He was truly a multidisciplinary artist that mastered so many different genres and artistc forms and means to develop his ideas and vision.

I would define my style as eclectic. I also like to use irony and double meaning in order to provoke a reacion from the viewer and make people think, as opposed to leaving them indifferent to the work of art. Firstly, to be honest with oneself and with the viewer, the artist must make sure that he or she knows exactly what he or she wants to express, find the ideal tools to do so and be genuine and imaginative.

I have used a basic PC, a camera and a graphic edition application.
