Throtl Music Festival Website by Šefik Mujkić

The idea behind Šefik Mujkić Throtl Music Festival Website’s was to bring back the history of the previous really successful events to the visitor and the potential customer, to bring them the atmosphere that they could find when they visit one of the events or listen to the original companies work – putting all of the most important, engaging information right in front of the user first and focusing on that instead of showing everything they got in one go.

Lately I am inspired by the editorial magazines and the layouts they provide to their readers, so some of the elements were made with that in mind to present the content. Colors of the brand were always bold, dark and interesting, so the design went with that idea, to transfer those same feeling to the web and I think it has been done.

As I said, some parts of it came from editorial layouts, but the main factors in getting the idea for it was the experience that these events provide when visited, the feeling that you get when you first arrive and see all the people from different places arround the world, hear your favourite artist perform, meeting new, until that point strangers in your life. those feelings really influenced the making of this.

I wouldn’t say there is an edge in regards to my work and someone else’s work. It all depends on the project, story of it and what you are trying to accomplish, so I would say that none of the designs are identical in every way. I would say it’s simplicity for me, make as much with as little as possible. Learn something new every day, get out of your daily routine, your comfort zone and learn the skill that will help you evolve to a better you.
