I designed the educational 2D character animation to describe a story of Trojan War, that was waged against the city of Troy by the Greeks in Greek mythology. I was inspired by the movie 'Troy' and designed cel animation, 2D animation and sound design to help the storytelling.

I was motivated to make it by the characters and shapes of old Greek and Trojan architectures and equipments. I basically tried to put the style of figures in the traditional Greek Vase, like the opening video of Hercules of Disney.

I designed all the characters, materials, and spaces in Illustrator first, and brought them into After effects to animate. I did character rigging in after effects for every single character, and made each scenes using the moving characters. Also, I did cel animation in Photoshop to design Paris's kidnapping part. And then I did sound design for any sound effects and making fit tension in each scene.

Most of people said it's easier to understand the whole story briefly and not boring to watch. I learned visual description via animations can help educational influences. Also, the way to represent the story in media made people easy to concentrate on the story.
