Tube House by Vladimir Donchenko
Throughout Vietnam, but particularly in the North centered on Hanoi, a distinctive house type, called "rocket" or "tube" style, predominates. Tube houses are not as common in the middle and south Vietnam because either houses are only one or two stories set in gardens or larger, wider buildings predominate as in Saigon. 3D artist Vladimir Donchenko decided to the Tube Houses a try. So, let's see his futuristic models!
The Tube House is a modern interpretation of a traditional shop house from Hanoi where the spaces of the house are organized around a series of internal and external courtyard gardens. The gardens function to bring light, air and visual landscaping deep inside the body of the house.
It was a noncommercial project, I just really made it for myself since I have long nurtured the idea of an unusual home so finally I decided to try it on. I made a simple sketch and went to work. I work in the office so I had to do the project after work.

The design was inspired by more than just work in this direction. I wanted to do something more organic and complex. Something that is very futuristic and really striking. I think the only advise I can give to aspiring artist is to follow their heart. There are many rules on how to make a nice rendering, how to do this or that - but sometimes you need to break from themand get what you actually really wanted.
