Tutu Mundo Personal Brand Identity

Tuğba Özcan June 15, 2016 0 Comments

Tutu Mundo is a personal brand that creates designs that offers branding, identity, advertising, packaging, print, apparel and more, as well as a platform in which I share a lot from my world of hobbies, such as traveling, photography, hand-crafted helmets and food & beverage which is based in London. Tutu Mundo means Tutu’s world.

Tutu Mundo is a sea shell. It symbolizes wondering, exploring, and going further and further. It reflects purity, naturalism and dearness. And the topographic lines emphasizes the depth of Tutu Mundo. It is also a representation of both sea shell and design.

I always have a pen and a piece of paper with me no matter where I am. Moreover, I have always loved drawing lines and circles. After a while, this led me into topography.
Topography allows you to realize the third dimension without the need of a 3D demonstration. I scratched the very first draft on a piece of paper. After, I created the second draft in the illustrator; and eventually finalized the work with coloring and dimensioning. What I dreamt of was there on the screen!

My friends found it very interesting. They said it is compatible with the very well-known saying less is more, but is also in different way. What they think the most interesting part of this design is that it is simple yet at the same time it breaks the rules of conventional design. My friends love this design! I also get quite positive comments from people from the portfolio websites I upload my works. I am happy that people think it is a good work besides being unusual.
