This project serves as the fictional brand that Cameron Bresn designed the watch under. Read on and enjoy!

The story of the watch was that I wanted to practice my skills as a designer both in 2d and 3d so I created a brand and decided to make a watch for it as a fun design exercise.

The brand was inspired by the execution of negative space in a design, even seen in the logo which uses negative space to create the roman numerals for 12. I wanted the brand to be a modern take on a more traditional watch approach so that is why the roman numeral is used but I tried to do accomplish that in a new way.

The process was pretty typical, it started as a series of hand sketches and ideas that progressively moved through to rendering it in photoshop to understand details, building it in CAD using Solidworks, and finally rendering using Keyshot with Photoshop enhancements.

My ideas for the watch happened a while ago so I don't really remember specifically what prompted it, I just remember that I liked traditional watch aesthetics but I thought it would be an interesting exercise to do that in a new way. It was one of my first attempts at doing a serious CAD model so I ran into challenges with the resolution of surfaces.
