The use of synthetic eyelashes are commonly associated with dramatic make up. Twinkle on the other hand aims to switch the perspective around by not selling the image of who you can be through their products , but rather to celebrate women’s true beauty through Twinkle’s natural looking synthetic eyelashes. With this vision each of their products are named after simple everyday names of women.
The logo design reflects the brand’s vision of celebrating the boldness of women’s beauty. The logo uses a simple bold typeface and a simple bold star as the dot of the letter i to symbolise its name, Twinkle. The star is then used colorfully as a pattern for its identity.
To convey the brand’s vision, we designed a series of colourful illustrated packaging portraying different characters of women. The shape of the packaging imitates a human face as while at the same time displaying the product. The identity is designed to be colourful and vibrant as it celebrates the different identities of women in their natural beauty.
This packaging design has been featured by leading online publications such as Packaging of the World, Curiosity Rabbit Korea, as well as fashion focused websites such as Trend Hunter. Deriving from such a simple idea, we are really happy to see our final work inspire others and bring new light to the eyelash industry.
