I think I always loved photography, I just realized it two years ago. Travelling and exploring the world is the best gift a photographer can give himself. It is all about the sound, the smell, the experience. So why not capture it?

I decided to capture the cityscapes I visited, showing the everyday landscape we tend not to pay enough attention to. Cinema has a great impact on me, that's why I use these muted, yet colorful tones. It is the nostalgia of eras I never lived in I guess.

On the vast majority of my photographs I used a Nikon D700 with two sigma art prime lenses, a 50mm and a 20mm. I then post processed the raw files on Lightroom. The tools I used affected the least my project's style. It is all about painting with light.

I think people like my work, although it hasn't expanded much beyond the friends and family circle! I may have to use social media in a more efficient way in the future! I certainly learned that I have to shoot more and get out of my "dark room" more often.
