How cool is it to hop on a journey with your friend and explore a beautiful place? This is what Swiss designer/photographer, Jennifer Esseiva did. Along with her friend, they traveled to Norway. Visiting places like Mandal, Lista, Stavanger, Odda, Bergen and Hardangervidda National Park. Let's look at their travel photos.

With my friend, we saw some pictures from Norway. It looked amazing so we decided to go there. To be free and see all the places we definitely wanted to, we chose to go to there with our own car. Once in Norway, we drove around 1500 km on the road, starting in Kristiansand, passing by Stavanger, Bergen and crossing the Hardangervidda National Park. In Oslo, we took a ferry back to Germany.

My inspiration comes from the pictures I have seen before on the net or in magazines. It really made me dream. I wanted to work on long exposure pictures, when possible. Norway with all its lakes, rivers and beaches seemed to be a good playground for that.

How would you describe your style and who are your inspirations? :)
Hard question! I like both studio and natural light photography. For me, photography is like painting with the light. While outside, I am always trying to capture the best light to get the best of a landscape. While in a studio, I love the fact that I can create the whole picture, as I imagined it. I follow many National Geographic photographers because they make me dream of traveling. I especially like Steve McCurry, but I also follow a lot of good photographers on Behance and 500px, for example.

I don't know if I am good enough to give advice, but I would say: keep trying. As we say, we learn by doing. I currently have a Nikon D300, named Arthur. J He is my best travel's friend. After 7 years, he has never failed even if I took a looooot of pictures. I only use two lenses, a Nikkor 10-24mm and a Nikkor 60mm.

What was your favorite place in Norway and why?
Well, this is not easy to answer. I was really surprised to see so many different landscapes in Norway. I have to say that the fjord part was really impressive and it might be the most beautiful one that we visited. I also loved the Hardangervidda National Park. It has a special landscape, vegetation and light.
