Voice Pozzy is a unusuall app. Inna Murzin haven't seen any similar applications. With this application you can record all the interesting sounds around you and share them with other users. For example You can record music of a street band or a lecture of a Professor (but you need to ask permission to record audio). Now the app has been released in beta version. They are currently trying to find a market niche.

First I studied the design of such applications/websites. Then I tried to determine what type of design would appeal to the target audience of the app/website. And after all research I started to develop the design.

I can't exactly say what was the inspiration for this project. I just see something around: shape, color, subject. And I start creating the design. I've always liked maps in dark colors and the combination of black and yellow. Perhaps this is the source of inspiration.

If I got you right you'd like to know how different my concept is from other similar designs. I don't know. This project uses usual elements of interface. I didn't create something new. Just this design looks good. My style? :) I think I haven't reached a level of mastery to have my style :) But I really like to research the style of other designers. And I'm following very much designers.

I want to say: don't search for inspiration in projects of other designers. You can use their technique of working. But never try to copy their work. Look for inspiration around you and in the specification.
