A wedding is one of the most important moment in one's life. So having the best in someone's wedding is probably the greatest. The flowery wedding stationery was made to represent Creativine creative director Anna Kostyunina's style and capabilities in the portfolio. The set includes a colorful wedding invitation, a menu, a poster, a RSVP postcard.
The project took me about 2-3 days to complete. I have chosen the flowers theme as a basis, which is traditional for weddings. However, I decided to play with colors. This work combines the traditions of Russian folk (Zhostovo painting), Flemish Baroque still life (dark background, rounded floral composition, saturated colors), modern technology and techniques. I have chosen the set of flowers assuming that in Dutch painting tradition each flower has its own meaning.
This gentle mixture of white and pink inflorescence implies innocence and virtue. As for technology, photo-collage has been assembled from separate images of flowers each of those has been carefully selected and processed. As the result a lovely magical image with a slogan “Magic moments” were born from this feeling. For the invitations text design I have chosen an elegant classic style. It has been assumed that the text should be made by gold stamping.
I used Adobe Photoshop and a mock-up of business cards to showcase the product. The real art it is the talent, taste, knowledge and a bit of irony - all share in the sense of proportion.
