Yosemite Adventures by Austin Trigg
One of my favored memories adventuring in Yosemite National Park with good people eating great food by Fireside Provisions. I wanted to capture that amount of fun National Parks create for people. Everyone (well… most people) in National Parks always has a smile, everyone hiking always say hello and are extremely friendly. We are all there pretty much for the same reason, simply to enjoy the outdoors and gain the experience of being inside the wild.

My inspiration for this project is to inspire people to get outside and connect with nature. To get away from the screens, forget computers and be in the present, enjoying the moments out in the woods.

One challenge was not knowing that we were going to get snowed on... hard. We knew snow was coming but we didn’t know how much. We handled it pretty well, but when we got back to our car on Tioga pass we realized that we had the whole road to ourselves since no cars were driving by us. It wasn’t until the gate that we realized they closed Tioga pass and locked us in… With no cell service, we contemplated how to get out but luckily Rangers came to unlock the gate. We had a good laugh about the whole situation.

Do what makes you happy. If your unsure of what that might be, keep trying different options. The whole part about this journey is enjoying those moments of trial, its how we all learn and progress. I used a Nikon D610, Nikkor 14-24mm, Nikkor, 24-70mm, Nikkor 70-200mm and a Nikkor 50mm for this project.

Wow! Great photographs and I am sure they had a very memorable adventure ;)
WOW, that scenery is just amazing. The photographer really got some great weather for adding to the concepts of the images.
