3D Visualization for Benech - McGill by Federico Astigarraga

These 3D Visualizations for Benech - McGill are a series of renderings made for the architecture firm. Federico Astigarraga joined the team as a 3D Designer where he was tasked with several projects of very different scales. Different interior and exterior views for these projects were achieved in order to present it to the client and use the images as advertising for potential users and residents.

Close attention is given to the clients when developing these renders, because they always have their own idea of what they want to show their viewers. Sometimes I have to follow these intentions very precisely, but other times more creativity can be used. Generally the plans are very detailed on the interior spaces and I get to freely design the open spaces and surrounding environment. The materials of the buildings are usually assigned but I try from different tonalities and colors to get the right one. The scene conditions, such as lighting and time of day are completely up to me so I make some variations from an image to another.

I use industry standard software for my renderings such as AutoCAD were I model the big things, but mainly 3ds Max, V-Ray and Photoshop. The workflow for these projects is similar to those in any other creative field. I talk to the partners and clients and after getting a clear idea of what they want I get to work, feeding them with progress of the work as these visualizations take shape.

Clients and partners which ordered these visualizations turned out very pleased by the results. Every project has its own complexities that challenges and forces me to learn.
