Modern Easter postcards -nowadays the hand-made products have obtained the specific value of unique objects. Little flaws inherent in such things have become a sign of the presence of the human soul. This project combines two main ideas: the idea of technological progress and the idea of the adoption of changes.

In this project I explored the idea of "technological progress". Nowadays the hand-made products have obtained the specific value of unique objects. Little flaws inherent in such things have become a sign of the presence of the human soul.

In this project I have decided to experiment with materials and form. I stamped the cards manually. The printing technique is called silkscreen. I used a multi-colored transparent plastic and cardboard. The first version of postcard with geometric pattern, and the second version with abstract color spots. Abstract spots were created expressive and it can`t be repeated.

Each postcard unique.

At first I made some sketches of postcards. Then I developed a pattern in Illustrator, and prepared files for printing. In the photolab I have caused this pattern on silk. I stamped pattern on plastic with special paint and cut out of cardboard last element.

In this project I explored the idea of "technological progress". Nowadays the hand-made products have obtained the specific value of unique objects. Little flaws inherent in such things have become a sign of the presence of the human soul. People think that it is a modern project that opens up new horizons for thought.
