Google Page by Riccardo Vicentelli

Google platforms (Android OS, YouTube, Gmail, Google Chrome, etc.) have become a part of our daily lives, most popular of these is the search engine. Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary and the Oxford English Dictionary in 2006 even added the word "GOOGLE", which means "to use the Google search engine to obtain information on the Internet." The search engine showcases simplicity and user-friendly landing page. That being said is actually our artist, Riccardo, is trying to communicate in this artwork set -- minimal but engaging.

"Google Page" is a graphic concept for fun, a design layout of its front page because I'd like to see it more engaging. It is not a complete Google rebranding, only my vision of the main page based on my feelings and my research of emotion. The colors are my version of the red, green, yellow and blue of Google, images will update every week and will talk about the world in all its aspects (people, landscapes, nature, animals, seasons, etc.).

I completed the project in a few days. The meaning of this project is to communicate the right emotions. Google is the most important online search engine in the world, its design must be simple, but, in my opinion, has to transmit more energy. This can be achieved with the right colors and with a more engaging visual design.

The idea came to me while I was looking for something just on Google. I use it everyday, so much, so I decided to try to give my vision of it. I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for graphic creations. I also used my camera to take the pictures that we can find in the project.
