Hum Start Within by Briaux Romain

Briaux Romain's project "Hum Start Within" was aimed to promote the nutritional benefits of Hum Nutrition products on social networks. Their team didn't want to focus the campaign on the scientific / nutritional aspects (which are not very sexy and not very appealing to people). They'd rather focused the campaign around colours, shapes, everyday situations and objects that will attract people.

The process was actually simple. We didn't have budget for a dedicated shooting. So, we decided to work on compositions with assets that the brand already had. Each composition relies on vibrant colors, playful shapes and funny objects.

I really loved what Clinique did on their Instagram. Shootings are great, with a strong emphasis on lights and shadows. The pastel colours are amazing. I’m a big fan!

My inspirations are very diverse, I’m very interested in a lot of creative domains like Design, Photography, 3D, Typography and more. I’d like to work on each of these fields however, I don’t have enough time to explore them all. For the Hum Campagin I was inspired by Studio Akatre projects.

Let your imagination do the job. Do not restrain yourself because of the brief. Go beyond any limitations first. Then revise your intentions to make them fit with what is achievable / realistic.

About Briaux Romain

Briaux Romain is a 26-year-old Designer based in Paris with 7 years work experience. Briaux has been working for french agencies like Werkstatt, Uzik. He's currently working for Napoléon as a Junior Art Director, an agency focused on User Experience.
