iOS Livejournal Redesign Concept by Alexander Livanov

LiveJournal is a service for journals and blogs, photo storage, publishing tools, style templates, and online communities for many interests. For a lot of bloggers, LiveJournal may be one of the first platform they've tried or used. Graphic Designer Alexander Livanov was tasked to officially redesign the website but for some reasons, it didn't push through. However, he still completed the project.

Actually I was supposed to redesign it officially at the beginning - for some reasons that didn't happen. But I have decided to complete it anyway. Both mobile and web versions look very complicated and overloaded today. I wanted to make it looks light and clear, content oriented, dismiss all the elements and details which never should be there. Also I was disappointed with a huge and hard to navigate comments hierarchies. I wanted to see it more elegant.

There was no special source of inspiration. Maybe some trends in User Interface (UI) design we see everyday on Behance. I just wanted to design good user flow and do not ruin it with UI after that. As for an advice for aspiring designers - work hard and use my kit if it meets their goals :)
