Lodz University of Technology - Library Interior by AP Kwadrat

AP Kwadrat's project, "Lodz University of Technology - Library Interior" was created in cooperation with architect Adam Kisiel, it contains the concept design of development of first and third floors of existing library.

The idea was to create a modern, attractive place for students' area, where they could learn and rest between their lectures. One of the requirements of the competition was, to create an art exhibition area called "Biblio-Art", a book rental place and space for children to play.

All technical drawings were created in Autocad LT 2016. And all 3d models and visualizations were made in Sketchup Pro 2016 and V-ray 2.0. The final result had been achieved in Photoshop CS6. Project was awarded as one of the seven winning projects, participating in the architectural competition "Library with imagination", organised by the Library of Lodz University of Technology. Working with this project was very instructive because we needed to consider all students contemporary expectations from public space which is library.
