Neverland Application by Lili Köves

Neverland Application is a thesis project of Lili Köves where its ultimate goal was to produce something practical, useful and realizable while still keeping it artistic, experimental and personal. According to her, dreams sometimes seems to be an own universe where anything can happen and can be reached only while sleeping. This gave the idea to call it Neverland. It is also a reference to Peter Pan's dreamy world. Read on and enjoy!

The base idea was born a few years ago, when I had an intensive dreaming phase, with many atmospheric and meaningful dreams, that I wrote down, but failed to keep regular. From here the idea of a dream visualization app emerged, that is at the same time an interactive dream journal for everyone and an art project.

Wanted to get into web and app design. Also when designing my thesis project the ultimate goal was to produce something practical, useful and realizable while still keeping it artistic, experimental and personal.

I was looking a lot of apps who had great concept, design and overall user experience. Starting was difficult, what features to keep, what let go and how the structure and navigation should be. I had a few versions in the beginning, but once I had the right one I was going forward with that, refining it.
