"Salt & Pepper" is a project that I did at SVA. It's a branding project for a fictional company in New York that manufactures and sells salt and pepper. I wanted to create something utterly simple and classic, but with a contemporary and relatable feel. I decided to make everything 50/50 black and white to communicate the simplicity and sharpness of the salt and pepper. The complementary patterns are inspired by kitchen tiles.

I don't know if I have a specific style but I always I strive to keep things simple and clean, because I believe that is the best way to communicate through graphic design. I also like to include illustration and patterns in my work. I often get inspired by seeing color combinations, nice typography and of course nature.

My advice to fellow artists would be to not be afraid to collaborate and borrow ideas from each other. Then work hard and have fun!
