This project of furniture design I did in my company "Genza design" - set of poufs "Tetris"! There are four different little poufs. All poufs are 400mm high, however they are different colors and forms. And it depends on you how to put them together. You can create one big surface along the wall or make compositions of poufs for each corner. And you can change your decision each day! It is funny, comfortable and usefull for any house. Have fun with set of poufs "Tetris"!
Upholstered furniture creates comfort and coziness at home. But how can we add more fun and variety to it? To answer this question, we turned to old, but still amusing game "Tetris." We decided to combine the new furniture line with one of the most popular game in the world.
We have chosen four standard shapes from the game and formed them as puffs. In addition, we have created a stand that can be put on any of the puffs, which will provide additional convenience for you. For example, you may put a cup of coffee on it, leave a book or a notebook there.
Project was made from sketches then I used 3d Max and Photoshop to make it looks as much real as it possible. Also in our company we did a technical drawing for the project in ArchiCad. After that we gave all information to our partners for making a prototype.
As a result, now, in our company, we offer four unusual puffs, differing in color and form. You choose on your own how to put them together. You may create one broad plane near the wall or link them to the corner of the room... And you can change your decision whenever you want! Besides, you can choose your own color scale, as well as the amount of each of the figures when ordering.
While making a prototype of this project I personally learnt a lot of things about wood quality, textile differences and other technical details that are present in all furniture.
People and prototype laboratories - everyone likes this project! I didn't even expect such a feedback. They like it mostly because it's simple and fun.
