The Sky Habitat project by Photographer Marc Tan was simply a way to document the architectural structure of Moshe Safdie’s latest building in Singapore. He happened to be a fan of his architectural works and was amazed by his latest project. Read on and see the magnificent architecture of Moshe Safdie's building through Marc's lenses.
Moshe Safdie's works are known for their dramatic curves, arrays of geometric patterns, use of windows, and key placement of open and green spaces. His writings and designs stress the need to create meaningful, vital, and inclusive spaces that enhance a community, with special attention to the essence of a particular locale, geography, and culture. He is a self-described modernist.
My inspiration for Sky Habitat is modern brutalist architecture. I used a Nikon SLR system with various Nikon and Sigma lenses.
What I can say to young artist is that you have to do what you love.

According to the website - Battle of the Architects, Moshe has a lot of famous buildings, but there are some buildings he made that just stand out and make you amazed. Here are a couple of them. His first and arguably best building designed was the Habitat '67. This building was the star of the show at the Expo '67, and definitely got lots of attention from everyone. The next building is Yad Vashem.
