Surf Shop by Adam Clark

Adam Clark

Cincinnati based designer Adam Clark's project "Surf Shop" is a haven for all surfers. Not only the building looks amazing, it is also built to adapt to different atmospheric conditions. Now, let's explore the surf shop!

The project was inspired by my brief time living near the water in California. The building was designed to be very simple from a formalistic standpoint, as I was more interested in how it may be received by the environment. Thus, the project really focused layering in atmospheric conditions (sky, ground, vegetation, people, etc).

I am extremely interested in graphical approaches to architectural visualization. Thus, I keep an eye on the following studios; Arqui9, Luxigon, UFO, Doug and Wolf, and Labtop. The best advice to I can give to my fellow artists is to practice, practice, practice. Hard work pays off.
