Velvet by Erik Svetoft

A famous line states that a picture paints a thousand words. For the illustrations below, it is definitely more than a thousand! Take a look on a Swedish student's artwork wherein the amount of details can be mind-blowing. Dayum! 

Velvet is a 70x50 cm drawing made with ink and pencil with digital coloring. It depicts a large ceremony hall or theater or something and there's lots of people and things everywhere to look at.

ABOUT ERIK SVETOFT

Erik Svetoft is a freelancing illustrator and graphic design student based in Gothenburg, Sweden, currently studies design at HDK (university of design and craft)  and gets a bachelor degree this summer. He grew up in the north of Sweden and has always been drawing. He published his first art book called LIMBO in 2014, available from Sanatorium förlag who also publishes Mattias Adolfssons and Emelie Östergrens work.
