There was really no big story behind this Martin David's "Spaceships in Bottles". It just came out of his mind. He thought that this could be a fun project since he loves drawing spaceships and everything that is geometrical.

Most of the times I use outlines in my illustrations and I tried to create a decent color scheme for this series. Also played with some subtle gradients and shading, a technique that I try to use more frequently.

I´ve wanted to create something that feels more collectible than just spaceships so I´ve added the idea of ships in bottles. I try to keep learning every day! I wouldn’t say I have a specific or defined style. I´m inspired by sooooo much stuff out there and I always feel like I want to try everything. Just felt in love with isometric grids recently so I think there comes some isometric stuff in the future.

Try to stay focused on your passion. There might be obstacles in your way and you won’t be happy everyday but it's really worth it. There is no better motivation to be successful than passion!
