Submarino Viagens Redesign by Marc Anderson

Submarino Viagens came to us looking for a refresh of their popular Brazilian travel destination. They needed a solution that clarified the booking process, and inspired visitors to visit new destinations. A vibrant system utilized photography, rich color, and quirky typography to make the site feel accessible and familiar to previous customers.

Submarino Viagens is one of the top Brazilian travel booking destinations, but needed a refreshed look to entice and excite their customers about travel opportunities and deals.

A new platform was created that utilized large beautiful imagery promoting Submarino's wealth of destinations, and employed clean thoughtful typography to convey the best upcoming deals. A new, streamlined booking flow was also created to allow for more reliable trip planning and cross-selling of additional travel accommodations.

The site needed to fit in with Brazil's vibrant design culture, so typography and color were deeply considered. A vibrant framework pairs the quirky and approachable typeface Omnes with bold shades of blue, yellow, and green to reflect the excitement and energy of Brazilian and South American culture.

The result is a friendly new look and robust system that works across devices and will expand as Submarino's business grows.
