Henrique Mantovani Petrus really liked the sea theme, pirate, sail .. so he ended up drawing several ships between one project and another. This project, Bring Me That Horizon, began with the illustration of a ship, after he finished it, he liked the results, especially the colors, so he decided to extend for a number of illustrations. The title was the one who came last, so did the lettering.

I really do not know how to describe my style hahaha some say it would be great to illustrate children's books, but not yet had the opportunity. But I realize that my style has changed a lot since I started to illustrate, lately I'm trying to use more textures, something that I really didn’t before.

My inspiration comes much from movies, TV series and music. But I think the common things we see on a daily basis is what most can inspire. Oh and of course I have many illustrators and graphic designers who follow on behance and pinterest that is my references.

Advice I could give is to never settle. Each of us has a technique that loves and that often characterizes his style, but always seek a new technique or tool and try to use it in your next project. It's always good to question our style.
