A Fondue Massacre is a project by graphic designer, Eugenia Anselmo as a gift for her friends (the ones in the illustration) for the celebration of Friend's day that happens every 20 of July. Usually people gather with their friends to have dinner and make a toast to friendship.

As we had fondue for dinner and we got stuffed of it I wanted to make us chubby and rounded. I thought it would be funny to exaggerate the amount of food we ate. Also I wanted to try a new style of illustration, but I wouldn't say that this style is what defines me. I was just trying something new.

I don't now it there was an inspiration style speaking, the big dinner was my main inspiration. I think I might have answered that already. I may add that I tried to evoke these retro horror movies using the typical fonts. I wanted to personify fondue as the criminal.

If you are happy with a style try to polish it all the time and if you like to jump through styles it's Ok as well, you don't have to necessarily have just one style, have fun and find the right style for each project.
