Cheesecake Cinemagraphs is a personal project by our artist, Daria. According to Wikipedia, Cheesecake is a sweet dish consisting of one or more layers. It is usually sweetened with sugar and may be flavored or topped with fruit, whipped cream, nuts, fruit sauce, and/or chocolate syrup. Cheesecake can be prepared in many flavors, such as strawberry, blueberry, pumpkin, key lime, chestnut, or toffee. In this art set, our artist used honeysuckle/honeyberry/haskap. For those who has a sweet tooth, enjoy our yummy treat!

This project is a personal one, we do those occasionaly with my stylist just for fun and to keep our portfolios updated. It took us about three days to prepare, shoot, and edit the images.

For this one I took inspiration from the berries I found in my parents' garden - honeysuckle. They looked unusual and interesting to me, I tried cooking with them and decided that they would be great on top of a cheesecake. I filmed everything on my Canon 6d and just edited with After Effects.

To any aspiring artist I would advise to keep it real with food photography, enjoy the process and don't run for perfection. Also learn to work with what you have, tight budgets for personal projects make it challenging but also fun and you get to learn a lot.
