Fume is designed to cover marker pens in a new and attractive way that will provide two different usages: as a package and as a stationary marker holder. It will be a game changer in the market that will attract users’ attention to the shelves and save lots of desk space. It presents a compact and useful solution that comes in handy. Thanks to its rotating feature, you can reach every marker pen easily and pull them out to use. Through its rotating feature, one can reach every marker pen easily and pull them out to use. After using the pen, it can be placed back to the desired outlet by either vertically or horizontally. Being a package at the same time, the stand can restore 40 marker pens at a time.

Having an extraordinary cubic structure for a marker pen stand, the design aims to achieve to be an easily accessible and a colorful marker pen stand to attract the users.All parts can be produced via plastic injection molding and made of HDPE plastics or PMMA plastics by bending it to the designed shape.

Challenge was to build the marker pens in a way that creates an aesthetic look while making it easily reachable from every angle within the perceptions of production. 3d and 2d programs were used. The process started with sketch works are produced many ideas. Then, the volume placement of the items was examined in three dimensions. Finalized according to the material and the form.

Designed by Hakan Gürsu of Designnobis, Fume was honored in A' Design Award 2016-2017 with a gold award in Art Materials, Stationery Supplies and Gift Items Design Category and in German Design Award 2019 with a gold award in Excellent Product Design Stationery Category.
