Meditation Garden - Nirvana was a 3d render made by Portugal based 3D artist Sérgio Merêces for the client Welcome Earth TV. They contacted him to create a meditation garden in Nature from 0 and where they give total freedom to create it so he can say that is almost a personal project :)

The main idea it was to get a beautiful place with meditation spots in nature for the client can print in full scale this image and use it. The design I create it from testing ideas in 3d composing the scene multiple times until I get what I want and in my mind.

I searched real photos zen gardens and a old 3d render I did in past for zen garden to be inspired and so that I can model my scene assets for all this scene. My style is to work all my images with passion and trying to give it a story and feelings for the final image that in some way can transport the people who watch it to a dream place :)

For me is the composition and post production of the 3d renders images. The best advice I can give is to work with passion and improve your skills all the time, for example I am still learning everyday new things that help me in my daily work.

Sergio Merêces is a 35 year old Portuguese artist based in Evora / Lisbon Portugal 3D visualization artist.
