Inspired by the Greek earth, sun and tradition, architecture studio OFFICE4 has designed a bright summer house in the island of Rhodes. White tones, grey limewash paint and sunburnt wood set the colour scheme for this interior. In their design, OFFICE4 achieved elegant harmonization between architecture, design, functionality, aesthetics and meaning.
The main idea was to create a bright and warm space for our clients, a space that brings out the Greek summer. The style and materials were inspired by the Greek islands and countryside. The colours we chose reflected upon our client’s wishes who wanted a bright space.
We used Rhino for the 2D designs and we created the general 3D volumes of the model. We imported the file in 3Ds Max, where we designed details and furniture. We also used some furniture from different Internet resources (3ddd / 3dsky / Behance). We also set the materials and lighting and rendered our scenes through V-Ray. In the end, for the post-production we used Photoshop.
Our intention was to create a space that serves a meaningful design through the personalized needs of our clients. People’s response to our project was quite positive and welcoming, but the most important thing was that the clients were very pleased with the outcome delivered, as we helped them define the environment they dreamt both functionally and aesthetically.
