This project was commissioned to CUBE by the Egyptian Ministry of Housing. They required 3 different design options, each of which had its own presentation, but finally it was settled on the Crystal Spark, the pyramid looking tower. Read on and enjoy!

The project was very technical, the tower proposal was meant to be the highest tower in Africa, and it was hard to come up with an outcome that had an artistic touch to it. The model was very raw and the render outcome was kind of poor, and it needed a lot of post-production to achieve the popping effect that would make the viewer feel the grandeur of the project.

To me, the challenge in this project was its scale and timeframe. It had a very tight deadline and the requirements of the production quality were high, but in the end it turned out ok.
