The idea was born accidentally by exploring from the terrace of my apartment (ten-story building) the structures of the cities from the zenith views (roofs, streets, parks and buildings) seen in a way not usual for all of us, because most of the time we see the world from the floor.

Aerial facades is a project that compiles different photos of those buildings, spaces or architectural complexes that are part of our city and that show us through a drone the incredible details that our city (Bogota, Colombia) hides from the air.

The drones gives you infinite possibilities of composition and framing, but a characteristic that astonished me a lot was the zenith that can be obtained, the ability to ascend or descend, and to control the camera as a professional camera according to the needs.

To develop this project of aerial facades the shoot on location is the most important thing. Then there are different settings like color adjustments (Photoshop), but beyond that, the composition of photography is the most important thing in this project.

The people who have seen the project say as ..."wow! I did not know that my city looks so good from the air!” or “that structure that I walk through every day looks so imposing or geometric from the air!”.
