Constantine Rybkin started working with this Lugano suite as an interior architect in November 2015. The project is a small 45m² vocation apartment in Switzerland. It took Constantine a month to design and adjust the concept for a specific client. A month more to deliver the technical drawings including some custom furniture and lighting. In February 2016 they started it's construction.

Working as an architect I don't have time to pre-visualize every single design I create. In this case I was so in love with the concept that I couldn't let somebody get the job done for me. It took me a week of free time to make this set visuals. I tried my best to archive more photographic quality rather than work on quantity. The idea was not to show every corner of the project, but to deliver the mood of the concept in general.

Inspiration for such projects comes usually when I am on my own walking somewhere in urban or nature. I love to analyze and experiment with materials, spaces.

Describing the design is the most tricky part for me. I believe that every blueprint has it's artist's signature. My one have something from modernism, minimalism and contemporary Northern European design. One look at it is worth a thousand words.

Constantine Rybkin is Estonian architect, visual artist with strong background in photography and filmmaking. He has solid five years of experience in architecture, interior design and CGI.
