Once and for all, people get tired from their work or other stuff so what they need the most is to take some rest. Today, we will be featuring a chair design that is suitable for head rest, back rest and seat of the Eames chair. This is certainly called Skinny BOB, an ultra-light laminated wood chair created by Ehud Elda, an industrial designer from Israel. I hope his design will inspire you to creating your own industrial design project.

Skinny BOB is an ultra-light laminated wood chair. It was made as part of my final project as a student in the industrial design department at "Bezalel Academy of Art and Design", Jerusalem. It's made out of two identical molded beech pieces, each piece was cut to a different form and covered with an Oak veneer sheet and then assembled together to create the seat and back. The molded wood is held by four metal legs.  The legs are connected to the sides and depend on the curved wood strength; this allows the seat to be floating in the air.
