Veronika is czech future supermodel represented by NEVA Models agency. Artur Madej was invited to update her book before her trip to Paris. The goal was to capture her unique beauty and ebullient sensuality keeping it in minimalistic fashion look & feel.

To make her stand out on every picture I used lightning setups that gives edgy look to her face still keeping it soft and flattering. We decided to go without makeup - to enhance her freckles . Veronika did great job giving me poses and faces that were both sensual, mysterious and classy.

Behind her natural look there are hours of postproduction. I focused not on removing imperfections that are rare things with such great model but on celebrating things that make here so unique. I belive also that smart sharpening that shows beauty of skin texture and subtle toning gives that spark to images that separates flat snaps from moving portraits.

Artur Madej was crazy enough to give up great business carieer to persuit artistic calling. He recieved his training from Remi Kozdra/Kasia Baczulis, Antonina Dolani and Joanna Kustra. He is developing his minimalistic, human focused yet fashion related style with the philosophy that Annie Lebovitz expressed in the quote "A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people." You can find his pictures in the books of models represented by such agencies like Women Managment, Elite. He is also shooting portraits of local celebrities and lookbooks for Warsaw based designers.
