50 Logos 50 Days by Piotrek Kowalski came up as a usual idea in his life - during a walk with his dog. He has a lot of logos and it wasn't the first time he thought of this project, so he thought - "Hey, let's try how far can you go!". However, it was actually the first time, that he said - "OK! Let's do this". It was just a matter of setting a solid limit, which would be challenging enough to push his skills further, but at the same time it won't be messing up with his work/life balance for too long :)

I heard about someone, who finished 100 Logos in 100 Days, but personally I think that's way too much, when you have a life to live and you're not a student anymore :)))

One of my main goals about that project, was to explore new ways of doing regular stuff, to explore new paths of creativity and just to exercise my brain. Each of those 50 designs is a separate story to be honest. Few of those marks came up as an experiment or modification of other idea, few of them just popped up in my head, so I just needed to re-draw them. So, to sum up, many marks - many ways of reaching the goal :)

Long and true love to logo design. My style is hard to describe, because I feel like I'm still evolving as an artist (or maybe craftsman?). My roots are deep down in graffiti and streetart,
but my fascinations goes far beyond, to the ancient chinese and japanese culture. I'm guessing that the best of me is still to come :)

Don't let go of your dreams and passions, even if they're not paying back. I've been trying to make a living through graphic design since I was in high school, but because many bad decisions I've made, I had to wait for almost 10 years to be able to say, that graphic design didn't failed me. Did I thought about dropping it? YES! Many times. Did I actually dropped it? Never. So be patient, work hard, try to challenge yourself, and eventually one day You'll get what You always wanted.

Piotrek (Peter) Kowalski, is 29. He runs a one person creative workshop called OFFKR in a beautiful city of Olsztyn, the truly inspiring capital of Polish lakes district. He's been in the logo design business for 3 years, but he had been doing various arts probably since he can remember.
