The important of design at our university if the social impact that our projects may have on a community. That's why "al cole" was planned to solve the problem we observed that was: the risk that everyday kids have to live with on their way from their houses to their school, one of them being broken street and bridges, in the case of urban kids, but also long and dangerous rural ways in the case of small town kids. That's why the project begins with a quote from los Andes university which declares that one of 2 kids have been stolen in their way to school.

Our main inspirational font was waze, in matter of ui design. Always trying to step aside, giving that fun, coloful and in a way childish look. For color and identity I've always loved color. Actually my thesis subject is use of color on ui design, that's why I found to be very important along with the technical and the conceptual use of color, giving importance to target at the time of choosing a color palette. My inspiration for this is the filmmaker Wes Anderson, the Designer Jeremy Scott and the Colombian design group Comes Cake. The plastic, pop and composition in their work is what makes me create.

The edge of my design world be the social matter and the use of color. My advice would be create for others, always think in your client, don't settle with the first idea, color might be your best friend in social media/interface design, because the lack of the bad use of it could be the death of your idea.
