Image, label and packaging design for a variety of red wine from Bodegas Los Cedros entitled Bluish. Inspired by the blue bird and with reference to the technique of painting "anthropometry" plastic arts technique based on the principle of using brush as a person or object. A blue bird natural pen is used to create a unique context.

Also the packaging is inspired by the foundations of the concept of the blue bird also called mexican tile design. The box is covered in tiles with the same pattern of the bird texture and supported by wood.

This project was inspired in the technique of painting called "anthropometry". This technique is known for its principle of using any kind of material to draw or paint. In this case a blue bird natural pen was used to create the image since the concept of the project was a blue bird that lives in the zone of this wine.

First was to create the concept and the copy of the project later called "Azulado". Then the image was created with a lot of investigation of the bird, place and wine. The image was created based on the technique called "anthropometry" and a natural blue bird pen was the tool to create it. Photoshop was used to help with a few retouches of the image. The label has also the logo of the wine cellar with the necessary information.

Materials / Paper, blue paint, pen bird.
Software / Photoshop, Illustrator.

The reaction of the people to this project was magnificent. They liked the convination of the texture with a clean typography. This project opened up my abilities to do more experimental work. Always having in mind that with a base concept to work with, will create diferent outcomes in many diferent ways always finding what's best for the project.
