Dr. Lavannia, founder of Lavannia Skincare, a start up company based in Malaysia The difference? Instead of conventional beauty formulations that dilute with added water or use petroleum derivatives such as butylene or propylene glycols that can be laced with potentially harmful chemicals, Dr. Lavannia started with an organic botanical juice base and then add powerful skin care ingredients. Formulations packed with nutrients so every antioxidant-rich drop can feed your skin.

After having several meetings with the client company, I wanted to study the whole process involved in the making of each product. Only then I understood, their major ingredient was flowers, the extract. Thus I wanted to create an identity which would portray the company's story to every individual customer in a minimalist way. I have used heart to symbolize pureness and used the extract droplet within the heart to convey the concept. Thus the logo is very simple to understand. Flower made from hearts with extract droplet. The color theme behind is to play safe with the feminine dominant color.

I begin by gathering data, performing market research to identify target markets and assess consumer perceptions, competition, business trends, and product value. I also perform internal audits to ensure the needs and goals of a company's departments are aligned. This research informs the development of an overall brand strategy, which can affect logo and package design, pricing, placement, advertising campaigns, and customer service messaging. My verdict also include where to distribute a product, what medium is best for advertising and how to shape product messages for different demographics.

ABOUT DINESH SRIDHARAN

Dinesh Sridharan is a 22-year-old, India-based graphic designer with over 3 years of freelance and corporate experience. Computers have been his life since he was a child and he always loved anything related with pixels so he started to design at a very young age, most of his skills and knowledge are self-taught. He has enormous experience in design. Dinesh is very much a hybrid designer and developer, and can create good-looking, artistic websites with in-depth technical functionality. He's passionate about his industry, and always stay abreast of the latest tech trends with an eye to incorporate them into his projects.
