Have you ever imagined what your dream house will look like? Well, you are not the only one who has that kind of thinking. Our featured artist for today has been wanting to create his own fancy house and thanks to technology, he is able to visualize more the design of his house especially his living room. Let us take a look and be inspired with his simple yet elegant design for his living room. Have fun!

When I was a kid, I wanted to have a fancy house and I imagined my living room to be like this. I wanted to have an indoor pool and below it, I wanted to have a TV because after a dip in the pool, I want play video games and watch TV. During our art class, we are to create a living room and use a reference out of it. I found something close to my dream house and I decided to create it using Autodesk Maya. It took me weeks to make it but it was all worth it.

When I was making this piece, I have to properly adjust my camera to the right angle in order to match the reference. From there, I used cubes and planes to create the base of the Living room. After creating the base, I created each furniture to match the reference. I had to improvise regarding the pillows and the plants because copying them exactly is hard. Finally, I created the textures in Photoshop and rendered my model using Mental Ray.
